What this is

HoldBytes turns the words you type into a spoken recording using natural AI voices. You download the recording as an MP3 and a WAV file and use it for your phone, presentations or similar business needs.

Paying

Each recording has a single price shown on the page when you buy. You pay once by card through Stripe. There is no subscription. Your download link works for 30 days.

If something is wrong

Check the words and voice before you pay, because the recording says exactly what you typed. If a recording we made has a real problem, such as a file that will not play, tell us within 14 days and we will make it again or refund you. We do not refund a recording because you changed your mind about the words or the voice.

Your words and your recording

The words are yours, and you may use the recording in your business, including on your phone line and in presentations. Please tell people the voice is automated where the law asks you to. The voices belong to the voice service we use, so you may not claim a recording is a specific real person.

What you may not do

You may not use HoldBytes to pretend to be a real person or organization, to scam, threaten, harass or mislead anyone, to make robocalls that the law does not allow, to make sexual content, or to break any law. We may refuse or stop an order that breaks these rules.

Keeping the service running

We work to keep HoldBytes available, but we cannot promise it will never be down. Voice makers and networks are outside our control.

Limits

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the recording in question, and we are not liable for indirect damages. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.
